The Medicare Child Dental Benefits Schemes is a Commonwealth Government initiative which provides up to $1,000 for basic dental care to:
- Children between the ages of 2 and 17 years
- Children belonging to a family that receives Family Tax Benefits
The Child Dental Benefit Scheme covers:
- Dental check-ups and cleans
- Fissure sealants
- Fillings
- Extractions
- Root canals
